Your goods travel at owner's risk
Unless transit insurance is arranged, your items are carried at the owner's risk. That is the standard arrangement across the transport industry — we'd rather say it plainly here than have you find it out on moving day.
We can arrange transit insurance
We advise customers to look into transit insurance for their move — and if you'd like it, we can organise it for you. Ask when you book or ring 021 16 00 445.
The cover we hold
Dia Transport holds public liability insurance and offers limited transit insurance. The carriage-of-goods policy you sign when the driver arrives sets out the terms of carriage for your move.
Worth telling us when you book
Fragile or high-value items are exactly what the crew wants to know about in advance — list them on the booking form and they'll be packed and carried accordingly.
